You may be eligible for a spouse or partner visa if you are in a genuine, long-term relationship with one of the following:

  • A British citizen
  • A person settled in the UK (e.g. holding Indefinite Leave to Remain)

  • Have got permission to stay as a stateless person before you became their partner

Depending on your circumstances, you can apply as a fiancé(e), spouse, civil partner, or unmarried partner.
