Deal Announcement: Clarkslegal’s corporate lawyers advise on the sale of Chatterbox Labs Limited to subsidiary of American tech giant

Clarkslegal’s corporate team, led by Senior Consultant, Jon Chapman and supported by Senior Solicitor, Emma Docking, are delighted to have advised the founders of Chatterbox Labs Limited (London, England), Danny Coleman (CEO) and Dr Stuart Battersby (CFO) on the sale of the company to Red Hat, Inc. (North Carolina, USA), a leading open-source software company and wholly-owned subsidiary of IBM (New York, USA), one of the world’s oldest and largest technology companies, with an annual revenue for 2024 of US$62.75 billion.

Chatterbox Labs Limited is a specialist artificial intelligence (AI) security and safety software company which uses their patented AI Model Insights (AIMI) platform to independently validate and test AI models, generating quantitative AI risk metrics to ensure AI systems are safe, secure, transparent and compliant with global regulations.
