Carly Dodds

Senior Solicitor

Carly is a Senior Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution team at Clarkslegal. Carly acts for claimants or defendants, from individuals and small to medium size businesses to large national corporations, across a wide range of sectors.

Carly has over 8 years litigation and dispute resolution experience in private practice, having joined Clarkslegal from a boutique commercial law practice in Oxford and having spent 7 years prior to that in a highly respected Thames Valley regional law firm.

Carly studied law and obtained a first-class honours degree as well as a distinction in the Legal Practice Course. Prior to qualification, Carly worked for a luxury global motor vehicle brand dealing with disputes and looking after their UK interests. Carly also spent a year with a national regulator in London looking after consumer interests with enforcement work.

Carly has a wealth of experience in a variety of commercial disputes, including contract claims, professional negligence claims, product liability claims and acting for businesses handling consumer disputes. Carly really gets to know her client and their objectives. She seeks to offer solutions tailored to her client’s needs and achieve positive outcomes, whether that be through litigating the dispute in court or resolving issues through alternative dispute resolution methods.
