Rebecca Hone, Immigration Associate at Clarkslegal publishes in Governance and Compliance Magazine on how employers can ensure their EU employees have the right to remain in the UK after the 1 July.
EU Residents (including EEA and Swiss nationals and their family members) who lived in the UK up to 31 December 2020, and who did not hold Indefinate Leave to Enter/Remain or another valid UK visa, were required to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) no later than 30 June 2021 to safefguard their rights to live, work, study, and access public services in the UK from 1 July 2021.
